Cuesta College graduates and their loved ones celebrated their academic success Friday. A total of 691 students graduated at the college’s 45th commencement ceremony.
The graduating class earned 801 degrees. Among the graduates were students from four foreign countries — Belgium, Honduras, Japan and the United Kingdom — as well as Arizona, Idaho, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nevada, Oregon and Texas.
The graduates, who range in age from 16 to 65, include three sets of siblings, a husband and wife and two sets of mothers and daughters. Of the graduates, 115 students earned honors or high honors by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, including six who earned 4.0.
