PG&E crews in Morro Bay are busy after a power outage Friday night left much of the city in the dark.
A spokesman for the utility said the outage started about 8:40 p.m. and affected 4,080 customers.
The power remained out at 10 p.m. and officials said they did not know what time it would be restored. The cause had not been determined Friday night.
The outage came as car enthusiasts packed the city for the Cruisin' Morro Bay auto show, which continues Saturday.
