Tourists headed to Yosemite National Park on Friday will find all roads leading to the park closed because of snow, ice and fallen trees.
Park officials announced that highways 41 and 120 are impassible because of snowy and icy conditions on them. Highway 140, also known as El Portal Road, is blocked into Yosemite Valley because of trees on the roadway.
Badger Pass Road and Hetch Hetchy Road also are closed.
Officials urge visitors headed to the park over the weekend to drive slowly and carry chains.

The saturated ground has increased the risk of falling trees, and visitors are urged to hike with caution.
