A celebration to mark the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America is set for noon Sunday at downtown City Park.
There will be guest speakers, Scout demonstrations, a fundraiser to support Cub Scouts and information on how to join the organization.
There will also be a Scouting memorabilia exhibit on display in the Carnegie Library.

An information session to help immigrants better understand the naturalization process is scheduled for Thursday at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Citizenship Program of Allan Hancock College will host the session, which is part of a larger USCIS initiative to help immigrants better understand the naturalization process, including the content of the naturalization test.
Participants will also see sample questions from the test that became mandatory Oct. 1 and receive an overview of U.S. history and civic principles.
Free educational materials will be given out while supplies last.
The meeting will be from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Allan Hancock College, Room C-40, 800 S. College Drive, Santa Maria.
