Several community organizations will be offering free Christmas meals today and Friday for the homeless or needy.

The Prado Day Center will be closed on Christmas, but will offer regular meal services today, including breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and lunch at 12:30 p.m.
St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will offer a Christmas breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday. 1344 Nipomo St., San Luis Obispo. 543-7212.
The Maxine Lewis Memorial shelter will serve lunch at noon on Christmas Day. 750 Orcutt Road, San Luis Obispo. 781-3993.
In an effort supported by many local organizations, including the Cal Poly Community Center, the Jewish Community Center, and Sierra Vista Medical Center, a dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Friday at Oddfellows Hall, 520 Dana St., in San Luis Obispo. Entertainment will be provided, as well as care packages for the homeless. A shuttle will be provided to and from the Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter. 756-5834.
St. William’s Catholic Church will serve lunch from noon to 2 p.m. on Christmas Day in its hall at 6410 Santa Lucia Road, Atascadero. 466-0849.
El Camino Homeless Organization will serve shelter clients from 5 to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day at First Baptist Church, 7360 Atascadero Mall Ave. Atascadero. 462-3663.
People’s Kitchen in Grover Beach will serve lunch at noon Friday on Grand Ave. between 6th and 7th streets. Arrive at 11:30 a.m.
