Honor Flight Central Coast California is flying World War II and Korean War veterans and their guardians to Washington, D.C., to visit their memorials. This is the fifth flight operated by Honor Flight Central Coast California.
The flight will leave San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport on Monday morning and arrive in Baltimore late afternoon. Tuesday morning’s itinerary includes a visit to the National World War II Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Iwo Jima Memorial, and service branch memorials.
The group fly home Wednesday after a visit to Fort McHenry.
The entire trip is free to veterans; costs are paid through donations.
