On Monday at 6:30 p.m., County Parks will hold a community meeting at the Mission Parish Hall (behind the mission) to present a revised plan to expand the park on K Street.
Part of the plan included closing K Street from 12th to 13th Streets to build a large soccer field. That proposal was met with controversy at the previous meeting. Another complaint was a lack of parking. On Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors will hear the request to vacate that section of K Street.
