Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian recently honored local certified public accounting firm Glenn Burdette as it celebrates 50 years in business on the Central Coast.
Glenn Burdette started in 1965 as a small office on Peach Street in San Luis Obispo and has since grown to employ more than 60 people at offices in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria, according to a news release.
Glenn Burdette’s first main office building at 1150 Palm Street was erected in 1985. It opened an office in Paso Robles in 1998. In 2000, it became the first California CPA firm to form an employee stock ownership plan.
It opened an office in Santa Maria in 2004 and acquired Santa Maria accounting firm Keith Lapp & Associates in 2008.
