A sweet new festival is coming to Paso Robles.
The Golden Oak Honey Festival, to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 25, will feature about 70 vendors throughout City Park at 11th and Spring streets.
It will offer honey goods as well as garden art, handmade jewelry, birdhouses and other crafts, according to a news release. A free Meade wine- and beer-tasting garden will also be set up, and several seminars on honey and the benefits of honeybees and beekeeping will be offered. Free honey ice cream samples will be available.
