Cantinas On Park, a private and live music event venue in downtown Paso Robles, has received about 20 inquiries since opening for business Sept. 9, property and event manager Eric Wright said.
The venue at 1242 Park St., is underneath Mexican restaurant Fish Gaucho and includes a stage, professional sound system and lighting and a bar area.
It can accommodate up to 70 people for a range of events, from birthday parties to corporate luncheons, Wright said. He declined to disclose the cost of renting space, saying that he preferred to discuss that on a “customer-to-customer basis.”
The venue will also feature regular music and performance nights, with coffee and desserts provided by businesses on its preferred vendors list.
Cantinas On Park was funded by local nonprofit organization The Cantinas Foundation, which looks to “transform modern day culture through opportunities where faith and family can intersect with the arts,” according to a news release. The nonprofit was founded by local philanthropists B. Wayne Hughes Jr. and Wendy Hughes.
