Marsh Street Commons, a new residential and commercial development in downtown San Luis Obispo, will be ready for occupants before year’s end.
Developer Mangano Homes is completing the interiors of the residential units, the façade and interior of the commercial space, as well as final site and frontage improvements, said Chris Richardson of Richardson Properties.
All eight of the single-family residences and three of the four lofts have been sold, and negotiations are under way with buyers for more than half of the commercial space, he said. The residences sold in the mid-to-high $700,000s, and the lofts in the low-to-mid $600,000s.
“The response to the residential and commercial spaces has exceeded our expectations,” said owner Andrew Mangano.
Buyers have been a combination of empty nesters looking for homes close to amenities and some young professionals.
Mangano Homes, based in Visalia, specializes in semi-custom homes and commercial projects on the Central Coast and in the Central Valley.
