Local advertising agencies recently won a total of 24 Addy Awards for “excellence in the art of advertising” on the Central Coast, according to the awards listed on the Addy website.
Juice Media and Verdin were the only local agencies to take home gold awards: Juice Media for the Paso Robles Wine Alliance’s Paso Wine Man video, and Verdin for its own open house invitation. Juice Media also won two silver and two bronze awards for clients including the Paderewski Festival, Daou Vineyards, Denner Vineyards and Limerock Orchards. Verdin’s other awards included three silvers and four bronzes for work with SLO Credit Union, Central Coast Partners for Water, Old Juan’s Cantina, the city of San Luis Obispo and Santa Margarita Tavern.
20|20 Creative Group won a silver award for its own website redesign and three bronze awards for work with Pacific Eye, Promega Corp. and Bazomb Inc.
Barnett Cox & Associates won a silver award for work with the Achievement House and four bronze awards for work with clients including the city of Morro Bay, the San Luis Obispo Mission and Parable Christian Stores.
S. Lombardi & Associates won a silver award for work with Community Bank of Santa Maria.
Peregrine Media Group won a bronze award for work with Dignity Health Hospitals Central Coast.
The nonprofit American Advertising Federation, which oversees the Addy, receives more than 50,000 entries annually for the district, regional and national Addy competition.
