A 21-year Templeton business expanded into children’s merchandise last week.
Adelaide Floral at 310 Main St. has added on a boutique called Adelaide’s Kid Corner that’s connected through the shop’s garden.
It’s “decorated in vibrant kid colors of green, pink, orange and brown, with ‘bubbles’ painted on some walls,” said Jane Jepson, who owns the businesses with her daughter, Danielle Pickard.
The square footage for the two businesses and the garden is approximately 2,000 square feet.
Since opening June 10, Kid Corner has been selling clothing, educational toys and books.
The family also hopes to host summer story time groups, music therapy and educational workshops there. Adelaide Floral has been operating since January 1990.
