Motorists can expect a slew of Caltrans employees along parts of Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo County Tuesday morning as part of the agency’s statewide anti-litter cleanup day.
About 60 adopt-a-highway groups will join Caltrans employees from various departments to pick up trash along parts of Highway 101. Some crews will also be picking up trash at rest stops and distributing information about litter problems on the state’s highways.
Caltrans employees will use marquees along the highway urging motorists to control their speed near clean-up crews.
Groups will be on the highway between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
