Linda Goldston, a former Tribune Pet Tales columnist from Paso Robles who recently passed away, was mother to five cats. Her friend Teresa Allen is trying to find homes for them. Here’s Teresa’s description of the cats:
“The cats are all around middle age, 5 or 6 years old, I think, in very good health, and have gone from very shy animals to very loving pets.
“Bouncer, who Linda found abandoned outside of her work office, is a very friendly tabby with white socks. She started feeding him as a kitten until he ‘bounced’ over to her car one night and demanded to be taken home.
“Two other cats, Jack and Jake, brothers, are very bonded and I hope can be adopted together. One is black-and-white and the other is mostly black with a white splotch on his chest.
Never miss a local story.
“The two remaining cats are female. Sara is a bit on the shy side at first but loves to be brushed and would pretty much be a lap cat with the right owner. Her coat is a plush gray.
“The last cat, Angelina, named after the actress, would be the most challenging of the cats to adopt. She was feral and was being fed outside until Linda began caring for her. She is still learning to trust.”
