If nature and the beaches arent enough for your activity-craving kids, theres a small, bayfront skate park at Coleman Park, on Embarcadero as you drive out to the Rock. Its open to skateboarders and rollerbladers with a complete waiver/release of liability and a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. Admission is $2. Hours vary by season. Summer: noon-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Fall: 3 p.m.-dusk Thursday-Friday and noon-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Winter: 3 p.m.-dusk Friday and noon-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Spring: 3 p.m.-dusk Monday, Wednesday and Friday and noon-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Call 805-772-6212 for information.
