The two acts will take the stage Sept. 20 at Vina Robles Amphitheatre.
Thorogood and his band, the Destroyers, found success in the late 1970s and ’80s with original hits such as “Bad to the Bone” and “I Drink Alone,” as well as covers of older songs including “Move It on Over,” “Who Do You Love?” and “House Rent Boogie/One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer.”
Thorogood will be backed on his current tour by longtime band members Jeff Simon on drums, Bill Blough on bass, Jim Suhler on rhythm guitar and Buddy Leach on saxophone.

Pioneering blues guitarist Buddy Guy, whose hits include “Mustang Sally” and “Stone Crazy,” has received six Grammy Awards and influenced rock icons including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 and awarded Kennedy Center Honors in 2012.
Tickets for the Sept. 20 show, which cost $40 to $90, go on sale May 22.
