Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles is adding a couple of rockers to its entertainment lineup: Kenny Loggins and Ted Nugent.
Also slated to perform this year are folk rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash, classic rock band Chicago, funk band War, ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and comedy duo Cheech and Chong.
Loggins, who takes the stage July 12, originally found fame in the 1970s as part of the pop-rock duo Loggins and Messina, best known for such songs as “Danny’s Song” and “House at Pooh Corner.”
In the 1980s, the Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist dominated movie soundtracks such as “Caddyshack,” “Footloose” and “Top Gun.”

On July 12, Loggins will also perform with singer-songwriters Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman as part of Blue Sky Riders.
Nugent, who performs July 13, served as lead guitarist of The Amboy Dukes before launching his solo career in the 1970s. His hard-rocking hits include “Cat Scratch Fever,” “Stranglehold” and “Wango Tango.”
Admission to Loggins’ July 12 concert costs $32 to $65, while tickets for Nugent’s July 13 concertare $30 to $65. Tickets for both concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
