Singer-songwriters Gavin DeGraw and Matt Nathanson will headline the inaugural Summer Krush concert in June in Avila Beach, Cambria concert promoter Bruce Howard of Otter Productions Inc. announced recently.
DeGraw rose to fame in 2003 after his song “I Don’t Want to Be” became the theme song of teen drama “One Tree Hill.” The Grammy Award-nominated pop-rocker attracted more attention in 2012 when he appeared as a contestant on the reality competition “Dancing with the Stars.”
DeGraw, whose hits include “Chariot” and “Not Over You,” is currently touring in support of his 2013 album, “Make a Move.”
Nathanson, whose music blends folk and rock, is best known for the hit song “Come On Get Higher.” His most recent album is 2013’s “Last of the Great Pretenders.”
Tickets for the June 22 concert at the Avila Beach Golf Resort, 6464 Ana Bay Road in Avila Beach, are $29.50 to $79.50.
Otter Productions also announced the lineup for the fourth annual Avila Beach Party concert, which has drawn such high-profile acts as indie rock band MGMT and electronic dance music rappers LMFAO in the past.
This year, the headlining act is the Australian DJ duo Nervo, which consists of twin sisters Miriam and Olivia Nervo.
Admission to that May 23 concert at the Avila Beach Golf Resort costs $40.
