Zac Brown Band Known for the songs “Chicken Fried,” “Colder Weather” and “Knee Deep,” the Grammy Award-winning group has released three platinum-selling albums. The band performs Wednesday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. on the Main Grandstand. Tickets are $50 to $125. Buy tickets »

The Fab Four This Beatles tribute band will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' American invasion by covering songs such as "Can't Buy Me Love," "Yesterday," "Here Comes The Sun" and "Hey Jude." The band also performed at the fair in 2011. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 19, and is free with fair admission.
Demi Lovato This pop star and former Disney darling is known for the hits “Heart Attack” and “Give Your Heart a Break." As an actress, Lovato is best known for her roles on “Sonny with a Chance” and the “Camp Rock” movies, as well as her stint as a judge on the reality competition “The X Factor.” She’s also the author of the best-selling book “Staying Strong, 365 Days a Year,” which was inspired by her struggles with bipolar disorder, bulimia and drug and alcohol addiction. MKTO This power-pop duo will open for Demi Lovato. They appeared in the Nickelodeon TV show “Gigantic.” Their self-titled debut album features the songs “Thank You,” “Classic,” “God Only Knows” and “American Dream." Florida Georgia Line Singer-songwriters Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, best known for their hit songs “Cruise” and “Stay,” will make their fair debut at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 21. Tickets are $35 to $90. Buy tickets »
Lady Antebellum Grammy-winner Lady Antebellum, which played the fair in 2010 and 2011, will perform there again at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22. The trio’s hits include “I Run to You,” “Just a Kiss” and “Need You Now.” Tickets are $40 to $115. Buy tickets »
Journey and The Steve Miller Band Journey, whose hits include "Any Way You Want It," "Don't Stop Believin' " and "Open Arms," previously appeared at the fair in 2005, 2009 and 2012. Meanwhile, the band behind "Abracadrabra," "The Joker” and "Fly Like an Eagle" performed in Paso Robles in 2006 and 2011. (Steve Miller Band lead guitarist Kenny Lee Lewis lives in San Luis Obispo.) The Doobie Brothers The Doobie Brothers return to the fair for the popular “Evening of Music & Wine” event. The rockers, best known for hit songs “Black Water,” “What a Fool Believes” and “Takin’ It to the Streets,” last performed at the Mid-State Fair in 1998. However, they’ve played other local venues much more recently — appearing at the Avila Beach Golf Resort in May 2012 and Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles in September. The Country Rodeo Finals featured events include bronc riding, bull riding, team penning, barrel racing, match roping, ranch rope and brand, double mugging and mixed ribbon roping.
