Templeton High students convert Mercedes to run on biodiesel
Jason Diodati’s students at Templeton High School have spent the school year converting a 1984 Mercedes Benz 300 to run on biodiesel used vegetable oil collected from local restaurants and processed into fuel.

Coastal Christian School moving to Pismo Beach in 2014
Coastal Christian School will relocate to a new campus on Oak Park Boulevard in Pismo Beach in fall 2014. Plans for the new school campus include classrooms, new labs and art rooms, a library and a play field.

SL Coastal cuts $4.2 million and 40 jobs
The major cuts will result in more than 40 jobs being eliminated. Also cut was high school transportation, summer school, planned installation of Wi-Fi at high schools and half of its funding for school resource officers.

Middle school students get a lesson at the Morro Bay Estuary
About 200 Los Osos Middle School seventh-graders had the opportunity this week to do some hands-on learning in the Morro Bay Estuary.
