Bronco baseball team helps tornado victims
The Coast Union baseball team decided at the end of the season to pitch in and help the victims of the horrific tornadoes in Oklahoma, and they set a goal of raising $1,000. That goal was reached last week thanks to a $250 contribution from Gym One of Cambria .

The Riptide softball team continued its winning ways Saturday, June 8, as the 14-and-under squad nipped Five Cities 7-5 and edged the Clovis Bullets 5-3. Riptide, featuring five players from Cambria, has now won nine of the 10 games it has played this summer season.

The Cambria Reds Little League team took a 6-6 tie into extra innings Tuesday, May 28, against the Brewers at the Leffingwell baseball field but the Brewers scored seven runs in the seventh to win 13-6. This means the Reds have tied with the Nationals for second place.

The Coast Union High School Bronco baseball team won an exciting playoff victory Thursday, May 16, at home against the Knights of Trinity Classical Academy from Valencia. Coast tallied 6 runs in the first inning and held on to top the Knights, 6-4.
