Comments (0) | The Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival is debuting new evening hours for Saturday to take advantage of the city’s warm, summer evenings.
From 4 to 8 p.m. more than 70 San Luis Obispo County wineries will showcase their wines.
Food vendors will share their culinary skills and suggest wine pairings based on the varietals available at the event.
Local artists will also display their work, while plein air painters can be observed.
A free shuttle is available from the Sunken Gardens, located in the center of downtown Atascadero.
Tickets are $35 in advance at www.atascaderowinefestival.com or $40 at the door.
The Atascadero Wine Festival, started in 1995, has raised more than $100,000 for various city projects, educational programs and zoo exhibits. All proceeds of this year’s festival will benefit the Charles Paddock Zoo.
