Overnight closures of Highway 101 in Templeton postponed

By Tribune staff

A full overnight closure of Highway 101 at Vineyard Drive in Templeton planned for this week has been postponed, Caltrans announced Monday.

The closure had been planned from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights this week. But crews were not ready to carry out the full closure this week, a Caltrans spokesman said.

Caltrans reports there will be lane closures — but not full highway closures — two nights this week, starting at 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and lasting through 5 a.m. the following mornings.

The full overnight closures now are expected to happen next week. More details are expected in the next few days on exactly when the closures will happen.
