Former San Luis Coastal Unified School District Superintendent Irv Nikolai has posted bail in Oregon and is set to be arraigned on felony child molestation charges in Washington County, Oregon, on May 16.
Hillsboro Police Lt. Michael Rouches said no additional child victims have been discovered by investigators working Nikolai’s case.
Nikolai led the San Luis Coastal district from 1984 to 1989. He served as superintendent of Forest Grove, Ore., schools from 1990 to 1999. He has also served as an occasional interim superintendent for other districts. He resigned Friday from his job as interim superintendent of La Grande, Ore., schools after his arrest.
The incident that led to four charges of first degree molestation involves a 7-year-old accuser who told investigators Nikolai allegedly touched her genitals during a birthday party in Hillsboro, a suburb of Portland near Forest Grove.
