A 12-year-old reported missing earlier today has been found, according to police.
Victoria Curzon, of Avila Beach, reported her 12-year-old son as missing when she went to pick him up from the Grover Beach skate park at 2:30 p.m. and he was not there, according to police.
The son had been picked up by a mentor for a pre-approved lunch, according to Grover Beach police, and the report was the result of a miscommunication.
The 12-year-old called the Sheriff’s dispatch to tell authorities that he was with the mentor around 5:30 p.m., according to police.
