Christy French, Atascadero Unified School District’s Teacher of the Year last year, has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Bonnie Adams is a volunteer for Cayucos Food Distribution, as well as a volunteer with the Salvation Army. As such, her empathy for those in need of basic goods and services speaks for itself.
