In an unscientific survey posted on www.sanluisobispo.com, The Tribune asked San Luis Obispo County baby boomers - those born between 1946 and 1964 - a series of questions to gauge their financial readiness for retirement and their most pressing concerns as they age. Over a period of two weeks in June, a total of 224 people - ages 44 to 62 responded. Participants also represented a range of occupations and household incomes - from less than $30,000 to more than $100,000 annually.
