• A photo caption on the front page Friday had an incorrect characterization of Estate Financial, a Paso Robles-based lender. The company’s portfolio is in serious financial difficulty, but Estate Financial is not a failed firm. Go to the corrected story

• CLARIFICATION: A front-page story Thursday about the fate of a development proposed on a downtown Pismo Beach parcel did not specify which of the companies that share the name Westpac Investments was developing Pierside Plaza. Westpac Investments LLC, based in Colorado, is the developer, not West-Pac Investments Inc., based in San Luis Obispo. Go to the clarified story
