SLO Downtown Trolley
The Downtown Trolley is a fun – and at 25 cents, cheap – way to get around downtown San Luis Obispo.
The loop goes from the hotels on the north end of Monterey Street, near Highway 101, to Mission Plaza, down to Nipomo St. on Higuera St., up Marsh Street and back to Monterey at Osos Street. A modified route during Farmers Market takes the trolley north around Mission Plaza.
It runs every 15-20 minutes from 3:30-9 p.m. Thursdays, noon-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays.
Avila Beach Trolley
This free trolley takes riders between Avila Beach, Port San Luis, Avila Valley and northern Shell Beach. It runs every 30 minutes from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
Morro Bay Trolley
The seasonal trolley runs from Memorial Day weekend through the first weekend in October. It costs 50 cents, or $2 for an all-day ticket.
One loop goes every 30 minutes from Harbor Street at City Park, down Morro Bay Boulevard, to Morro Rock, along Embarcadero to the Tidelands Park stairway, and back up Morro Bay Boulevard.
Another route goes every hour along Main Street in North Morro Bay, to Morro Strand State Beach, to the end of Atascadero Road at Morro Dunes Travel Trailer Park, to City Park, to the Museum of Natural History and Morro Bay State Park.
It runs 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays and holidays. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, it also run Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 11 .am. to 8 p.m.
Cambria Trolley
The seasonal free trolley begins at the Castle Inn on Moonstone Beach Drive, with several stops in the West and East Villages including the Cambria Library, Cambria Grammar School and East Village parking lot, and ends at Leffingwell Landing.
It operates every 30 minutes Friday through Monday year-round, Thursday through Monday from July 1-Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
