Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and Twin Cities Community Hospital have signed an agreement with MultiPlan, Inc., a New York-based independently managed health care network.
The agreement, which takes effect Tuesday, means MultiPlan beneficiaries now have access to the hospitals and their outpatient services. Sierra Vista in San Luis Obispo and Twin Cities in Templeton were among the last 12 hospitals owned by Texasbased Tenet Healthcare Corp. to join the network.
Sierra Vista spokesman Ron Yukelson said the agreement between the hospitals and MultiPlan will continue for at least two years. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
