Financial planner Rob Garcia, 36, and his staff manage more than $80 million in assets through Rob Garcia Wealth Management, an LPL Financial affiliate.
With offices in San Luis Obispo and Templeton, he is “one of those rare people that can balance his career, community service and family life successfully,” said his wife, Deborah Donnelly. “He is a great role model for young professionals.”
From the Sacramento area, Garcia earned a Cal Poly business degree and worked for what is now the nation’s fourth-largest brokerage firm before starting his own company. He enjoys “helping others and watching them achieve their goals.”
An Army veteran, he has served on the boards of directors for the American Legion of San Luis Obispo, Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County and the Cuesta College Foundation. On the San Luis Obispo Community Foundation committee, he supports the Growing Together Initiative. He’s also active with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce and participated in Leadership San Luis Obispo.
A three-year resident of Templeton, he and his wife have two sons: Brandon, 2, and infant Jakeb.
