Letter to the Editor

What next?

TempletonJuly 14, 2014

In two recent letters to The Tribune regarding the Supreme Court’s Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores decision, the writers don’t find a problem with the court’s allowing four types of birth control to be eliminated from coverage because, as they point out, that still leaves 16 to choose from.

But if four types are deemed unacceptable today, what if Hobby Lobby and its ilk decide six more are unacceptable tomorrow, and four more the day after and five more after that?

What’s left? The rhythm method?
