Former Mission Prep and Oregon star distance runner Jordan Hasay set a personal record in the women’s 1,500-meter run Friday at the IAAF Diamond League track and field meet in Glasgow, Poland.

Hasay finished 13th in the race with a PR of 4 minutes, 7.7 seconds. She eclipsed her previous PR of 4:11.23, set recently at the Portland Track Festival.

Indians pile up 17 hits in win

Mac Stuart went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, two runs and three RBI, Sinjin Todd was 4 for 5 with a double and two RBI, and the North County Indians cruised to a 10-6 summer collegiate baseball rout of the visiting San Francisco Seals on Saturday.

Johnny Balliet went 3 for 5 with two RBI for the Indians, and teammate Austin Kron was 2 for 3 with two runs.

Steve Pico went 2 for 4 with a double, two runs and an RBI for North County, which improved to 20-7.
