Nipomo’s Baker to continue college baseball career at NAIA school

Nipomo High school graduate Marc Baker was one of six Allan Hancock College baseball players to earn spots with four-year universities, the school announced Tuesday.

Baker was the lone San Luis Obispo County product in the group and agreed to play for NAIA Jarvis Christian in Hawkins, Texas. The sophomore pitcher was 4-2 with a 6.67 ERA this past season. As a frshman, he was 5-6 with a 2.88 ERA in 2013.
