Paso Robles High baseball star Bailey Gaither has been named an all-state selection by Cal-Hi Sports, the organization announced Monday.

Gaither was named to the Medium Schools Second Team and All-State Baseball Underclass Second Team Infield lists, according to a news release.

Gaither, who was named The Tribune County Player of the Year this season, will be a senior next year. The speedy shortstop helped engineer a turnaround season for the Bearcats, who went from 20 losses in 2013 to 20 wins and a PAC 7 title in 2014.

Gaither hit .500 with 40 runs, 32 stolen bases, 21 RBI, 10 doubles, five triples and three home runs this season. He also is a dynamic receiver for the Bearcats and a coveted football recruit in the class of 2015.
