3 people hospitalized after multi-car crash in Paso Robles

Three motorists sustained injuries ranging from moderate to life-threatening Monday afternoon after a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 46 East and Golden Hill Road in Paso Robles.

The Paso Robles Police Department said Monday that two vehicles were turning left from northbound Golden Hills Road to westbound Highway 46 and another was traveling east on Highway 46 when the collision occurred.

All three injured were taken via ambulance to local hospitals with undisclosed injuries, the most serious of which was described as “life-threatening,” according to a department news release.

An investigation into the cause of the wreck is ongoing. The Paso Robles Police Department is being assisted in the investigation by the Atascadero Police Department and the California Highway Patrol Air Operations Unit.
