Correction: An earlier version of this story misspelled the name of Angelica Erminia Aguilar. Her custody status was also incorrect; as of Monday afternoon, Aguilar remained in County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Detectives with the Paso Robles Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team made a pair of felony drug-related arrests Saturday night.

In a news release Monday, the department said officers pulled over Angelica Erminia Aguilar, 38, of Paso Robles at approximately 7 p.m. as she was driving on the 1500 block of Park Street.

As Aguilar was on probation, according to the department, detectives immediately searched her belongings and allegedly found a quarter of a gram of methamphetamine.

Aguilar was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.

Later in the evening, at about 9 p.m., detectives responded to a report of possible narcotic activity on the 100 block of Niblick Road. Officers arrived and contacted 19-year-old Chase Joseph Lojacono of Paso Robles, who officials said appeared to be engaged in a hand-to-hand exchange of narcotics.

Lojacono allegedly admitted to officers of being in possession of hashish. During a search of his vehicle, officers allegedly found approximately 1.4 grams of hashish as well as a half of a gram of cocaine.

He was also taken to County Jail on suspicion of felony possession of concentrated cannabis and possession of a controlled substance.

As of Monday morning, Lojacono remained in custody in lieu of $20,000 bail. Aguilar also was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to jail logs.
