Review conceptual plans for proposal to subdivide two commercial parcels into 42 residential lots, one common area lot and two commercial lots (with 5,000 to 6,000 square feet of commercial floor area each) at the southwest corner of East Grand Avenue and Courtland Street.

Atascadero City Council. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. Contract updates for city employee unions and groups; update on public camping and smoking ordinances.
Cuesta College Board of Trustees. Meets Wednesday. 546-3118. Discussion of pursuing a bond in the November election.

Grover Beach City Council. Meets today. 473-4567. Consider first reading of ordinance placing a bond measure on the Nov. 4 ballot to fund street rehabilitation.

Morro Bay City Council. Meets Tuesday. 772-6200. Consideration of putting measure on Nov. 4 ballot to remove primary election and hold one November election every two years; approval of agreement for U.S. Coast Guard to build additional facility at leased sites on Embarcadero; garbage rate adjustment; status report of existing wastewater treatment plant maintenance.

Nipomo Community Services District. Meets Wednesday. 929-1133. Review existing fee that has paid for some costs related to litigation of the Santa Maria Valley groundwater basin and criteria for repealing it.

Oceano Community Services District. Meets Wednesday.

Paso Robles City Council and Planning Commission joint meeting/workshop. Meets Tuesday. 227-7276. Overview of the city’s housing goals and policies. The Planning Commission’s regular meeting will resume following the workshop to defer Brett Van Steenwyk’s and Debbie Lorenz’s two-phase hotel, parking structure and performing arts center proposal, the Pine Street Promenade at 10th and Pine streets, to its Aug. 12 meeting.

Pismo Beach City Council. Special meeting Thursday. 773-4657. Midcycle budget adjustments for fiscal year 2014-15, consider requests from outside agencies and discuss donations.

Pismo Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 773-4658. Consider permits for residential subdivision of 10 townhouse lots, nine single-family residential lots, and 1-acre public bluff-top park at 2900 Shell Beach Road.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5450. Status report on implementation of ordinance limiting new or expanded irrigated crop production and new development in the Paso Robles groundwater basin; authorization of sale of county-owned surplus real estate at 790 Cornwall St. in Cambria, and allocation of the proceeds to the library facilities planning reserve fund.
