Brush fire off Hwy. 101 near SLO contained

A brush fire temporarily slowed traffic along Highway 101 on Sunday.

The fire started at about 2:50 p.m. along southbound Highway 101 at the South Higuera Street exit south of San Luis Obispo, Cal Fire said. Traffic along the highway slowed for about two hours.

No structures were threatened, and the fire was contained within an hour.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
