Thanks after the fire

Arroyo GrandeJuly 2, 2014

Our house burned down two months ago. It was a total loss of all our personal possessions and memorabilia. We now have one small problem: How do we thank the hundreds and hundreds of people who were overwhelmingly supportive of us in our time of need? How can we even thank all our family, friends and neighbors who gave us so much love, support and carried us in prayer?

We thank all the local businesses and merchants for their help and support. We thank the brave firemen who went into our home while it was still in flames to try and retrieve family albums and cherished items. Thank you Allstate Insurance Company for being there as our house was burning and assuring us that we were in “good hands” and would be taken care of through this tragedy.

Thank you to Ocean View Elementary School, Red Cross, C. J.’s Restaurant, Tutta Bella Salon, Chili’s, Arroyo Grande High School, California Fresh Market and so many more friends too numerous to mention.

We pray that no one will ever have to endure such a tragedy or anything similar in a lifetime, but if you should, there is no better place than the Central Coast and the heart of this community.
