Junior volleyball clinic scheduled in Cambria

Special to The CambrianJune 26, 2014

For aspiring volleyball players, the Cambria Youth Athletic Association (CYAA) is sponsoring three volleyball clinics in July. Those clinics — to be held at Santa Lucia Middle School — are set for 9 a.m. to noon July 22, 24 and 29.

The clinics are open to students in grades three through eight. Those interested in participating can pick up a registration form at the General Store in Cambria’s West Village. The cost is $30 for each clinic.

The CYAA is also opening up registration for the youth soccer program — for ages 4-18 — which begins in September. The cost for a student to participate in the fall CYAA youth soccer program is $80.

Registration forms are available at the General Store.

Soccer scholarships are available for those who might need a bit of financial assistance.
