Offensive state

San Luis ObispoJune 25, 2014

Harry Reid sees fit to declare himself the moral authority on whether a sports team’s name is offensive and utilizes the Senate and other government agencies to attempt to strong-arm a sports owner into changing the name of his franchise. When he is done with Dan Snyder, perhaps Harry should focus on the state of Oklahoma, which is derived from Choctaw Indian (or Native American for the politically correct) words “okla” meaning people and “humma” meaning red: red people.

It is insulting to refer to Indians (Native Americans, rather) as “red people,” and I find the state of Oklahoma highly offensive. Please Harry, when you are done harassing the Washington Redskins, turn your incredible intellect against the Sooner State.
