Led by Georan Meendering’s seven selections, the Cuesta College men’s swim team had six athletes selected as All-Americans as announced by the California Community College Swim Coaches Association.

Meendering, who won a state title in the 200-yard backstroke, earned an All America distinction in seven events — the 100 and 200 backstroke, the 200 individual medley, all three freestyle relays and the 400 medley relay.

Teammate Austin Bauer was not far behind with six All-America selections — the 100 and 200 breaststroke, the 200 IM, the 400 and 800 freestyle relays and the 400 medley relay. Other Cuesta All-Americans are Chris Reddick, Colton Privett, Casey DeLeuw and Calvin Gonder.
