Cal Poly’s Zack Zehner was 2 for 3 and scored twice, Jeff Moberg and Joel Atkinson both drove in two runs, and the San Luis Obispo Blues scored all of their runs in the first three innings before holding on to defeat the Los Angeles Brewers, 6-3, in a summer collegiate baseball home game Tuesday.

The Blues (17-6, 12-5 CCL) scored twice in the second amd four times in the third before the Brewers (6-4, 5-4) plated two in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Indians win big at home against Bears

The North County Indians compiled 10 hits and just as many runs in a 10-2 thumping of the Valley Bears at Vineyard Athletic Park in Templeton, avenging Monday’s 7-3 loss to the Bears.

Davey Casciola drove in three runs and hit one of the Indians’ four triples. Austin Kron also tripled and finished 3 for 3 with two RBI and a run for North County (9-5).
