A memorial for Jackson Garland, the Los Osos teenager killed in a car crash last week, will be held Tuesday, June 24, at San Luis Obispo High School.

The informal memorial for Garland, who graduated three weeks ago from SLO High, starts at 4 p.m. at Holt Field, according to school officials.

Garland was driving a Chevrolet Cavalier south on South Bay Boulevard near Turri Road at about 5:07 p.m. June 18 when a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Alexander Gonzales crashed into him head-on, traveling north in the southbound lane, authorities said.
