North County Indians fall to Valley Bears

The Valley Bears capitalized on a five-run seventh inning and four North County errors to drop the Indians, 7-3, in a summer collegiate baseball game Monday at Vineyard Athletic Park in Templeton.

Cuesta College’s Myles Franklin was 2 for 4 with a double and drove in a pair of runs for North County (8-5).

Ben Polshuk also doubled, and he, Davey Casciola and Mac Stuart each scored a run.

Louis Carlos pitched five innings and took the loss, despite not allowing an earned run. Austin Dondaville stuck out six in three innings of relief.
