A second concert to raise money for the damaged Cayucos Pier will feature surfing legend and musician Tom Curren on Saturday.

Curren will head a list of musicians slated to perform at The Cayucos Benefit Concert and Festivities II, sponsored by SLO Brew and Liberty School Wines. The concert, also supported by numerous local businesses, civic groups and residents, will raise money for the Cayucos Pier, which requires $2 million in repair work, and Front Street, which also required repairs.

A previous concert, held last November, raised $40,000.

Saturday’s concert will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 6 p.m. at the pier. Other acts scheduled to perform include the Tumbleweed Wanderers, the Julian Temple Band, Prixima Parada, Joe Koenig, Shane Stoneman, Bucket Busters, and more.

In addition to the beach concert, Front Street will host to a variety of concessionaires, including a beer and wine garden, a variety of food and arts vendors.
