Owners or operators of Paso Robles-area tourism related businesses are invited to apply for two open seats on a city tourism group.

The Tourism Collaboration Committee, previously called the Promotions Coordinating Committee, is a seven-member group that advises the Paso Robles City Council on tourism-related projects.

The two openings can be held by any owner or operator of restaurants, retail shops, marketing firms, attractions and visitor services, according to a press release.

The group meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the second Tuesday of each month at City Hall, 1000 Spring St.

Candidates will be interviewed in late July. The City Council will then appoint two members as early as August, according to the press release.

Those interested can download an application online at or pick up a printed version at City Hall. For questions, email
