A little Atascadero girl was mighty lucky on Saturday.

The 4-year-old fell out of a second-story window at a home on Wickson Way at about 2:05 p.m., Atascadero Fire Department Capt. Bill White said.

“Fortunately, she missed the concrete and landed on grass,” White said.

The girl was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit, where it was determined that she had no broken bones or internal injuries. White said he didn’t know the circumstances that led to the girl tumbling out the window.

“She was very very lucky,” White said.
